What CNC machining services does Mastro Machine Shop provide?
Mastro Machine Shop provides CNC turning, milling, mill-turn, and 5-axis machining for OEM production parts. We machine metals and engineering plastics and can also coordinate surface finishing, heat treatment, laser marking, and inspection.
What types of CNC machining projects are a good fit for Mastro?
We mainly support new part development moving into production, repeat production parts, re-sourcing existing components, and customers looking for an additional CNC machining supplier.
Where is Mastro Machine Shop located?
Mastro Machine Shop supports customers through operations in Taiwan & China, serving OEM customers in the U.S., Europe, and other international markets.
What materials can you machine?
We regularly machine aluminum, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, tool steel, brass, copper, titanium, and engineering plastics such as POM, PTFE, PE, nylon, and ABS.
What machining tolerances can you achieve?
Depending on part geometry, material, and feature size, we can machine certain dimensions to tolerances as tight as ±0.01 mm. Final tolerance capability is reviewed based on the drawing and production requirements.
Do you support repeat production?
Yes. Repeat production is one of our main focuses. We use first-part inspection, in-process checks, and final inspection to maintain consistent quality from one production batch to the next.
How do you control quality?
Our quality system follows ISO 9001 procedures. We perform first-part inspection, routine in-process checks, and final inspection before shipment. Inspection records and material certificates can also be provided when required.
Can you manage surface finishing and heat treatment?
Yes. We coordinate processes such as anodizing, hard anodizing, plating, black oxide, phosphating, sandblasting, polishing, QPQ, vacuum heat treatment, induction hardening, laser hardening, and other secondary processes through established suppliers.
What is your typical lead time?
Lead time depends on part complexity, quantity, material availability, and secondary processing. For each RFQ, we review the complete manufacturing requirements and provide an estimated production lead time before the order is placed.
What information should I provide for a CNC machining quote?
Please send your 2D or 3D drawing, material, quantity, tolerance requirements, surface finishing requirements, and any inspection or documentation needs. We will review the part and provide our quotation and production recommendations.
