Surface Finishing for CNC Machined Parts
We provide anodizing, plating, black oxide, blasting, polishing, and other surface finishes for CNC machined parts. By coordinating machining and finishing together, we make the process easier for customers while helping maintain appearance, function, and important dimensions.

Surface Finishing Options

Anodizing
Anodizing improves corrosion resistance and surface durability for aluminum parts while also providing a clean cosmetic finish. Different colors and surface appearances can be selected based on product requirements.

Hard Anodizing
Hard anodizing creates a thicker and more wear-resistant surface than standard anodizing, making it suitable for aluminum parts exposed to friction, abrasion, or demanding operating conditions.

Sandblasting
Sandblasting creates a uniform matte surface and helps remove machining marks before anodizing, plating, or other finishing processes. It is also commonly used when a consistent cosmetic appearance is required.

Plating
We support a range of plating processes for improved corrosion resistance, wear resistance, conductivity, or appearance, depending on the base material and application.

Black oxide
Black oxide provides a dark protective finish for steel parts with very little dimensional change, making it useful for precision components where appearance and basic corrosion protection are required.

Phosphating
Phosphating provides a protective conversion coating for steel parts and can improve corrosion resistance, paint adhesion, and lubrication performance depending on the application.
Polishing
Polishing improves surface smoothness and appearance while reducing visible machining marks. Different finishing levels can be selected depending on cosmetic or functional requirements.
